Hummingbirds And Butterflies

Hummingbirds and butterflies are two of my favorite summer visitors. That makes it double the pleasure, double the fun, when I see both at the same time.

I guess I'm like a reflective turtle this week, being a little on the meditative slow side. We just got back from a trip to West Virginia and Ohio to visit family, and I'm tired. We’re living the country life and hobby farming in the southeastern U.S.

We presently have chickens, turkeys and guinea fowl. To keep all the other critters safe, there’s a Maremma sheepdog and English Shepherd dog here as well!

I love to take pictures so there are lots of images to go with the stories! Not just of the farm critters, but wildlife and nature shots too. Plus some pictures from far afield now and then, when we do a tad of traveling. So sit down and visit a spell!
