Happy 4th of July and Happy 4th Birthday!

HAPPY JULY 4th!!!

.

Yes, it’s Independence Day here in the United States.  I can still hear fireworks going off all around us.  A lot of people have a lot of money going up in smoke right now ha!

I went outside for a while to watch some of the displays the neighbors were making with their fireworks, and had to wash the lanolin off my hands when I came back inside.  Our oldest ewe figured if I was going to stand around in the middle of the pasture I might as well be useful and scratch her head.  It always makes me smile too because when you scratch her head she wags her little tail just like a dog does.

And it’s also the 4th anniversary of this Rural Ramblings blog.  Wow!

I started out with a regular website in January of 2002, with a few pages showing the farm animals and scenery around here.  Since then I’ve accumulated over 700 pages, even though I’ve been kind of lax of late in posting here.  I’ve spent a lot of time on here, and at some point will probably get back to more regular posting.  But no promises just yet!

For now it’s just happy 4th of July!
