Back On The Farm

The Farmer with his new knees is back home. Right now he’s pretty much stuck in the house. It’s below freezing and he doesn’t get around well enough to try out our uneven terrain just yet. Not to mention Toby would probably knock him flat on his butt if he tried going out back.

Tomorrow he goes for his first outpatient physical therapy at 7:45am, then later in the afternoon, back to the ortho surgeon to have the staples removed. Progress!

It’s good to be home breathing some fresher country air instead of the recirculated air in a hospital or even rehab center. It’s good to escape the constant bustle of people running in and out of the room, and up and down the halls.

It may be a little crazy (okay, a whole LOT crazy) here on the farm, but it sure beats being stuck in a hospital room!
