Our English Shepherd Is 6 Months Old Today!
It’s hard to believe that our English Shepherd pup is already 6 months old!
Here’s a picture I took of him just a few minutes ago.
As all pups do, he has grown like a weed! You can get a feel for how much bigger he is by looking at him beside Tasha.
She weighs a little over 80-pounds. I’m guessing he’s probably about half that.
He will never be as big as she is, but he’s no small pooch either!
Some things are still PUPPY POWERED!
Even though he is getting older, he is still a master of the art of “puppy dog eyes” … to the max…
.
And he still likes to play and rough house with Tasha!
In fact, he likes to play rough a LOT!
Our walks get pretty rowdy most of the time, but it’s a great way for him to get lots of exercise.
Then there is the digging and chewing. Toys, flower pots… whatever he can find, if it’s chewable, he considers it his!
Whatever he isn’t actively playing with is often buried somewhere. You’d think it would be easy to see where he’s buried one of his new toys… but you’d be wrong! 🙂 It’s sometimes weeks before I find the latest dig.
But even the most energetic pup eventually wears out and needs a nap.
No doubt dreaming of more things to chew or chase!
We’ve got a ways to go on training… but he’s already a much-loved part of our farm family!
