2010 Fiddler’s Convention

Friday afternoon The Farmer and I went over to Athens, Alabama, to attend a Fiddler’s Convention. We had a great time listening to music, looking at crafts, and talking to people.

Of course I took my American Express Camera (Don’t leave home without it!). And considering I have over 400 pictures to wade through to pick out the few gems and delete the majority that’s trash… well, it’s going to take more time than I have today!

So for now, I’ll leave you with a picture of one little boy learning to play a fiddle. . .

We really enjoyed our outing to the 44th Annual Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention. I had so many pictures, I decided to pick some of them and turn them into a video. I used music from this group in the video. . . This is the first time I've made one of these, but here ya go! Hope you enjoyed it! ...

Welcome ya’ll!

We’re living the country life and hobby farming in the southeastern U.S.

We presently have chickens, turkeys and guinea fowl. To keep all the other critters safe, there’s a Maremma sheepdog and English Shepherd dog here as well!

I love to take pictures so there are lots of images to go with the stories! Not just of the farm critters, but wildlife and nature shots too. Plus some pictures from far afield now and then, when we do a tad of traveling. So sit down and visit a spell!
