Luxury Llama Transport

I’ve been chatting back and forth via email with a nice lady in Milan, Ohio, who wants some wool.  When I visited her farm’s website, Windy Hollow Farm, I was enchanted to see pictures of two of my favorite critters - Belgian Draft Horses, and llamas with their cute little crias.

Well, it seems yesterday Holly and her daughter, Hannah, took a funny big “dog” to one of the metro parks for a nature hike.

Holly and her HUGE dog in the van.

Hannah and her HUGE "dog" in the van.

Yes, the “dog” they took on a nature walk is in fact one large llama!

Here Hannah is getting the handsome fellow out of the van…

Heres one large llama on his way out of the van!

Here's one large llama on his way out of the van!

Almost there!

Almost there!

And here they are, all ready to set out on their nature walk.

Holly and her handsome llama ready to go!

Hannah and one handsome llama, all ready to go!

Holly said, “The park ranger flipped when we got there. She  asked us to put him back in the van so she could take a picture , because NO ONE would believe her !”

Next they need to do the drive-through bit at McDonalds or somewhere, and see what kind of reaction they’d get when they hand out the food and see a llama looking back at them!

Everyone needs a llama in their van!

Isn’t he a good looking fellow indeed!?! I think it’s a hoot Holly carts him around in her van.

Ha ha! My very first thought at seeing the photos was “Nothing good can come of this!” How cute to see a llama in a minivan. It’s certainly not something you see every day. Oh yes, a trip through the McDonald’s drive-thru is a MUST!!!

It’s amazing such a big animal will go in there! However, I do believe Holly said they took one of the seats out so he’d fit.

I hope if they ever do the drive-thru bit they send me pictures! ;-)

I just want to know how they convinced the llama to get into such a small space!

Good question! I’ll ask Holly. When she lets me know, I’ll post it!

Oh my gosh how in the world did they do that?? lol I wonder what a Llama would order at the Mickey D’s drive-thru…..

Okay ceecee & Kimmy, I asked Holly how they got the llama in their van. She said, “he jumped right in ……but then we work with them alot and he trusts us …..PLUS the van has AC ! :o) ”

I think the AC would be enough to do it for me! I’d never make a good pioneer, cause I hate HOT weather and love my AC too much!

Oh, and I think a llama would order a Premium Southwest salad at Mickey D’s!!!
