It’s hard to believe this blog has been in existence for 9 years.
When I first started it, I posted fairly regularly, but lately it’s been a lot more sporadic. I hope to amend that, especially with an up and coming “Farm Dog” section. Because as of this date, we have a new pup on the farm, an English Shepherd. But more on that in another post.
For now, this is about the 9th anniversary of our farm blog. While I write a lot, another big component of this blog is the pictures. So I decided to choose some of my favorite pictures from each year to showcase here.
Today is the 6th birthday of the RuralRamblings.com blog. If you do the math, that means the first blog post was on July 4th, 2007.
There are a lot of posts on here about sheep, goats, peafowl, our dogs, and of course, The Farmer! Lots of cute goat kids and lambs, little chicks and keets, and all kinds of critter pictures end up here.
I thought I’d take a look back and breifly revisit one of the most popular posts from each year. It’s always interesting to see that what becomes popular is not necessarily one of MY favorites!
